Isabel Briggs Myers (1897 –1980) was an American author and co-creator of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Briggs Myers was motivated from a young age to understand human development and how each individual could better reach their dreams.
Briggs Myers had little formal schooling up until she attended Swarthmore College, where she studied political science. She was able to create one of the most important modern tools for psychological analysis with no formal training in psychology.
