- install robotic systems, including robot arms, sensors, controllers, and end-effectors, in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and engineering drawings
- provide upgrades to existing systems
- perform routine maintenance tasks to keep robots and automation equipment in optimal working condition
- diagnose problems and troubleshoot to identify the root causes
- perform software updates and reprogramming to resolve issues
- calibrate robot joints, sensors, cameras, and other devices to maintain the desired performance
- verify that robots and automation systems meet quality control and quality assurance standards
- maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibrations
- provide training to operators and other personnel on how to use and maintain robotic systems safely and effectively
- proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as C++, Python, and Java
- familiarity with robotics frameworks and libraries like ROS (Robot Operating System)
